SENSITIVE TO GLUTEN? TRY THIS

Written by Victor Marchione, M.D. at Doctors Health Press

Are you sensitive to gluten? Many people are finding that they are, and are looking for foods that can help ease their gluten sensitivity.

For those with a gluten sensitivity, digestive problems are the norm. These gastrointestinal disturbances can include gas, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, constipation, and queasiness.

But a gluten sensitivity can also trigger headaches and pains. Some find that they feel fatigue immediately after eating gluten. There are also many people that have stepped forward and said that gluten can cause emotional disturbances. These disturbances can include irritability, anxiety, and sudden mood shifts.

NEWS: VERMONT PASSES MANDATORY GMO LABELING LAW

On Wednesday, April 14, 2014, Vermont became the first state to pass a law mandating that food and products with genetically modified organisms be labeled as such. The law takes effect July 1, 2016. It would have been better if California got the law passed first since it has a much greater population. Thus the popular saying "What California does, so does the nation." However, a victory is a victory and we'll take it regardless of size. According to Monsanto, the largest producer of genetically modified organisms in food, food that has been genetically modified is safe. This has never been proven through studies. In addition, studies in other countries have proven otherwise. In one study using guinea pigs, those fed with GMO corn produced more and greater tumors than the control group.

STUDY: TESTOSTERONE CAN CAUSE DEMENTIA IN CAUCASIAN BUT NOT MEXICAN-AMERICAN MEN

Researchers at UNT Health Science Center have found that testosterone therapy can cause brain damage in Caucasian men with oxidative stress but Mexican American men seem to be protected. Oxidative stress occurs when there are more free radicals in the body than antioxidants. The theory is that the higher levels of endogenous antioxidants in Mexican Americans may act as a line of defense against free radicals.

Men generally take testosterone to increase libido, slow aging, and increase muscle mass and energy. Before taking testosterone, Caucasian men should have their doctors perform tests to gauge oxidative stress, such as homocysteine levels. In addition, it may be wise to increase your supplementation of antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, E and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables every day for extra protection.

REPORT: EBOLA SUSPECTED IN EUROPE: "BROKEN THROUGH ALL CONTAINMENT EFFORTS"

Note from Donna: Please keep in mind that this report is without positive confirmation. Take is as a possibility that Ebola has spread to Europe. If it has, would governments speak up immediately and cause panic or keep it hush, hush until they have no choice?

Written by Mac Slavo of SHTFplan.com

Though officials at the World Health Organization are feverishly working to stop the spread of the Ebola virus in what is now seven African nations, their efforts may be for naught. In Guinea, a hot spot for the deadly contagion, government health officials have said that the outbreak is nearly under control. Yet, Reuters reports that the government “planned to stop publicly releasing the death toll to avoid causing unnecessary panic.”
But panic may be in order.

Despite the best efforts of emergency health workers it appears that virus may have crossed out of Africa into Europe.

The outbreak of Ebola Virus in seven west African countries has broken through all containment efforts and is spreading like wildfire.  According to Christian Relief groups working in Guinea and Liberia, the number of confirmed infections jumped 15% in just the last 24 hours. In addition, 40 illegal alien migrant workers from the outbreak area, who came ashore in Pisa, Italy, are showing signs of Ebola infection and are being isolated in Pisa Italy because of fever and “conjunctivitis” (bloody around the eyes).  According to the World Health Organization, this strain of Ebola is entirely new and although it is close to the Zaire strain, it is different, thus accounting for false-negative test results . . . . . for weeks!
Those false-negative results meant people who were actually infected with Ebola, were returned to their families and neighborhoods to recover from what they believed was the Flu or a case of food poisoning, only to spread the Ebola further.
The result has been a complete loss of containment of this Ebola outbreak.
With the likely arrival of Ebola in Pisa, Italy, the European continent is now at severe risk.

Italian officials deny the reports, but alternative media in the country suggests this is the reason for a complete lock down of a hospital in Pisa, where it is believed to have infected some 40 individuals. Other reports trickling in from various sources like social media indicate the virus may have also appeared about 50 miles from Pisa in Tuscany, Italy.

12 LESSONS ABOUT EATING WE CAN LEARN FROM THE FRENCH

Note from Donna: Being brought up with French and English traditions, I can relate to this article. My family always ate together when we were young. We did not sit in front of a TV or go off on our own. Lunchtime was not our main meal but we did eat dinner at 5 p.m. which is earlier than most families. we also called that last meal of the day "supper" instead of dinner. Unfortunately as we got older, my family started snacking more and eating less regular meals together. We started drinking more soft drinks than water and eating more convenience foods than home cooked. Today, I cook almost every meal from scratch, we eat dinner early, and drink mostly water as our beverage,  When we feel like soda, we buy soda water and add a little lemon or 100% juice. My daughter can't imagine eating cold cereal, pop tarts, or cereal bars for breakfast. These are snacks with little nutritional value.

We can learn from the French but the many French are now eating like Americans and paying the price with increase in heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.

The French diet is full of flavor and high in satisfaction. They don't believe in low-fat, low-carb, low-taste, or low-calorie, but they do believe in enjoying their food, taking the time to eat at the table, knowing when to stop eating and educating their children about food. These are a just a few of the many lessons the French can teach us about a culture that truly thrives on savoring the flavor at mealtime.

1. The French eat family meals together. No distractions. It's a real bonding time where they get to talk discuss life. The French train their kids from the age of three they spend time eating at the table at lunch every day in school. They’re not inherently better behaved, but they’ve practiced for years. By the time you see an eight-year-old French kid in a restaurant they have sat at a table thousands of times. It’s just practice.

16 GREAT USES FOR LEMON ESSENTIAL OIL

Lemons are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and antiseptic. Pure lemon essential oil is pale yellow in color and very concentrated. Although it is price, a little goes a long way. Be sure to buy 100% essential oils. If buying to add to food, also make sure it is food grade quality. I always buy food grade because it is more versatile than non-food grade. There are many good products but Now Foods (Now Foods lemon essential oil) has the best prices for the quality that I've found. Here are some ways that lemon essential oil can be used for healing, cleaning, sanitizing, and repelling insects.

1. Heal respiratory ailments. For a sore throat, add 2-3 drops of lemon oil to hot tea or warm water with raw honey and sip. For relieving coughs and congestion, rub a few drops of lemon oil
on your chest and/or throat. Repeat several times daily. You can also use in herbal tea with honey to help a cough. If your cough is worse during sleep then your tea right before bed will help calm the cough.

2. Boost energy. Add a couple of drops of both lemon and peppermint essential oils to water for an instant boost in energy.

10 WAYS TO RELIEVE SPRING ALLERGIES

Contributed by Tess Pennington of Ready Nutrition

Now that winter is behind us, the long-awaited season of spring brings with it rebirth, renewal – and allergies. When flowers, grasses and trees begin to set forth their blooms, our allergies show up. Congestion, sneezing and watery eyes are no way to enjoy the gifts that spring brings.

Relieve Your Allergies Naturally

For many, symptoms of allergies can be averted with a simple drive to the drugstore for over-the-counter meds. On the other side, those with more severe allergies must take a more aggressive approach to remedy their allergy symptoms.

1. Herbal Supplements and Extracts
Many herbs have been shown to have positive effects on allergy relief. Spirulina, eyebright, and goldenseal—have been studied for allergy relief and relief in sinus inflammation. Bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapple is sometimes used to curb inflammation after sinus surgery and could be used for allergy relief. Studies show that it reduces swelling and improves breathing, as well.
Some extracts have been shown to have a significant effect on allergy symptoms. According to WebMD, one study, published recently in the British Medical Journal, showed how just one tablet of butterbur extract (Ze 339) taken four times daily was as effective as a popular antihistamine drug in controlling symptoms of hay fever — without the traditional symptom of drowsiness that sometimes occurs.
Other extracts that show promise is nettles added to a tonic made from golden seal and added to a saline solution. This solution is used as a nasal spray and has been shown to have positive effects. ”The saline works to wash out pollen and reduce or thin mucous — the goldenseal has astringent and local antibacterial properties which can aid in this process.”

2. Honey
Evidence shows that local honey can have a profound effect on reducing allergies. The prevailing  theory behind eating honey is similar to gradually vaccinating the body against allergens, a process called immunotherapy. Honey contains a variety of the same pollen spores that give allergy sufferers so much trouble when flowers and grasses are in bloom. Introducing these spores into the body in small amounts by eating honey should make the body accustomed to their presence and decrease the chance an immune system response like the release of histamine will occur [Source: AAFP].

HOW GOVERNMENT ALLOWS DANGEROUS ADDITIVES LIKE MSG TO STAY IN OUR FOOD

By Melissa Melton of Nutritional Anarchy
“The thing that bugs me is that the people think the FDA is protecting them. It isn’t. What the FDA is doing and what the public thinks its doing are as different as night and day.”— Dr. Herbert Ley, Former Food and Drug Administration Commissioner
The year was 1969, and the “flavor enhancer” monosodium glutamate (MSG) was all over the grocery store, even in baby foods. Despite a place on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s GRAS (generally recognized as safe) list, scientific evidence had been mounting against the stuff that it was anything but safe. Psychiatrist Dr. John W. Olney had published a study in Sciencemagazine (spurring even more studies) that year showing that MSG caused irreversible brain damage in infants.
It seemed that feeding pregnant rats a diet with MSG similar to that which an average person could consume in everyday foods resulted in the formation of fetal brain lesions. Everything from neuroendocrine disruption to learning deficits to obesity was found in oral studies where infants were fed MSG and grew up screwed up — and not just rats, either. The studies were replicated with similar brain damaging results in monkeys, baby chickens and mice.
The alarm was sounded and MSG was removed from baby food that same year to quell parents’ fears and save bottom lines; but despite study after study showing potential dangers not just to infants but adolescents and adults as well, it remained on the GRAS list and remained in the grocery store.
When Senator Nelson asked Dr. Olney three years later in congressional testimony how, despite 18 studies (by that time) confirming the dangerous, neurotoxic nature of MSG it was still considered safe for food, Olney’s response was quite to the point: “an industry-managed whitewash”.

GET A HEAD START ON GARDENING WITH COLD FRAMES

By Tess Pennington of Ready Nutrition

If you live in a temperate climates where they can create a year-round garden. Sometimes, we have to make do with what we have.
Using a cold frame is a great way to get a head start on starting your garden or used as a way to extend your growing season during those cooler months.
Cold frames are essentially a mini greenhouse where you utilize a transparent top (glass or plastic) to allow sunlight to come into the structure and prevent the heat to escape via convection that would otherwise occur, particularly at night. They create a microclimate that provides warmer air and soil temperature, as well as provides young plantlings with shelter from wind. In cold-winter or wet regions, these characteristics allow plants to be started earlier in the spring, and to survive longer into the fall and winter. The most simplistic way to create a cold frame to add a piece of glass over a box. However, the larger the cold frame is, the more plants you can grow.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
  • Location of the cold frame can maximize plant growth
  • Set the frame on bricks to limit the exposure to soil and moisture
  • Angling the top of your cold frame towards the south will help you collect more sunlight for your plants
  • Cold frames should be at least 12-18 inches deep in order to grow vegetables
  • Warning: be wary of  window frames with lead paint. Lead paint can seep into soil where your plants grow. Tests for lead-based paints are available at hardware stores.
Salvaging windows or plastic sheeting is a great way to make due with supplies you already have on hand. Plastic will not insulate the plants as much as glass will. Further, glass will create a stronger structure. It will especially be good to use glass for areas where large amounts of snow occur.
There are different ways to build a cold frame and some are more permanent structures, and some cold frames can be moved for a temporary location. Therefore, do some research on your part to find which way is best for you.

THE 10 GMO MYTHS THAT MONSANTO WANTS YOU TO BELIEVE

By Daisy Luther of The Organic Prepper
The 10 GMO Myths That Monsanto Wants You to Believe
Monsanto and their biotech buddies would have you believe that they are super-heroes, set on saving hungry children from starvation wearing a dazzling fake-green cape. In fact, in a recent attack on activists, Monsanto’s CEO Hugh Grant said that because critics “can afford” organic food, we don’t care about the plight of those who can’t afford it. “There is this strange kind of reverse elitism: If I’m going to do this, then everything else shouldn’t exist,” said Grant. “There is space in the supermarket shelf for all of us.”
Even Monsanto’s website is on the defense, with page after page attempting to justify what the biotech industry is doing to our food supply. It must be true if even leading “philanthropists” (and I use this term loosely) like Bill and Melinda Gates are behind the distribution of Monsanto crops across the globe. Right?
Actually, it’s all about the public’s perception. The push for acceptance of GMO foods has, thus far, been all about which team has the most money. Monsanto and their ilk can afford more television ads and more PR than anti-GMO activists can. Because the biotech companies, Big Food, and Big Agri can pay to spread their message, many people are convinced by their pure propaganda that GMOs are a necessary evil if the Third World is to avoid millions of slow, agonizing deaths by starvation. Because biotech is able to afford to blanket the media with their perspective, their view point is accepted as the correct one because that is the only perspective that many people ever hear.
But just because they shout the loudest, that doesn’t make it true.
How we address these misconceptions can mean the difference between swaying people to examine these claims more closely or causing them to stick their fingers in their ears and sing, “lalalalala…” to block us out. Here are some of the most common myths that Monsanto and friends would like you to believe about the wonderful world of GMOs.

Myth #1: No one has ever proven that GMOs are harmful to people.

Monsanto mouthpieces have been quoted time, time, and time again stating the untruth that genetically modified organisms have never been proven to harm people. It seems that they believe, like Joseph Goebbels, the uncontested King of Propaganda, that if you repeat a lie often enough, and with enough conviction, that it becomes the accepted truth.
The reality: Just a few of the results of a GMO diet (based on peer-reviewed studies) are: grotesque tumors, premature death, organ failure, gastric lesions, liver damage, kidney damage, severe allergic reactions, a viral gene that disrupts human functions…you can read more HERE.

HOW TO GO GLUTEN-FREE WITHOUT CONTRIBUTING TO THE BILLION DOLLAR BIG FOOD RIP-OFF

By Daisy Luther of The Organic Prepper
Gluten-Free-Grocery-Store-Aisle
According to some experts, wheat is more like the staff of death than the staff of life these days.   Due to genetic modifications of wheat over the past century (go HERE to learn how scientists “fixed” wheat during the 60s), the grain that appears in nearly every meal in America seems to be causing serious health concerns, particularly inflammation and autoimmune issues.
The problem is, gluten-free food is a billion dollar industry, and at the prices Big Food is charging for these specialty items, it’s easy to see how fast the bills can rack up.
You only need to stroll over to the gluten-free section of your grocery store to see that the cost of eating a diet free of wheat is absolutely outrageous.  A loaf of Udi’s bread at my local market is $6.  And it’s a tiny loaf – with little bitty pieces of bread and a lot fewer slices than a conventional loaf. The Udi’s white and whole grain loaves contain 14 slices.  So, if you have 2 kids and 2 adults and all four of you eat a sandwich for lunch every weekday, you’re looking at a cost of nearly $20 – and that is just for the bread, assuming no one is super-hungry and wants 2 of the mini-sized sandwiches. This also assumes no one wants toast for breakfast or garlic bread with dinner.
And speaking of dinner – have you priced out quinoa pasta lately?  Enough gluten-free pasta for one spaghetti dinner will run you about $4, vs traditional pasta, which would be closer to $1.
Big Food is cashing in on the gluten-free trend, as more and more people discover that wheat is causing health problems and attempt to go gluten free. In 2012, the Huffington Post reported on the billions of dollars being made off those who wanted to omit wheat from their diets.
The gluten-free foods market is expected to hit $4.2 billion this year, according to a new report by market research publisher Packaged Facts.
And at the rate it’s going, by 2017, gluten-free sales could grow to more than $6.6 billion, the report said. (source)
That is simply astronomical, and it doesn’t have to be that way.

A REVOLUTIONARY 'SPARK' IN NEVADA?

Note by Donna: Does our government have the right to claim land that has been in a family since the 1800s because they are claiming to protect a desert turtle? Below is an article by Ken Jorgustin of Modern Survival Blog. My question is when did all the land in the U.S become "government" land and why did we let it happen?
feds-attack-nevada-rancher
There is a rapidly developing story at a Nevada ranch between an old time rancher family (a cattle ranch since the 1800′s) and the BLM (Bureau of Land Management).
The short of it is that BLM has just declared the adjacent federal land (which the cattle ranch has been using for grazing since the 1800′s) to be ‘protected’ because of a federally-protected desert tortoise (yes, a turtle). Due to non-compliance, the Feds have now descended upon the ranch and are apparently forcibly removing the cattle from rancher Cliven Bundy.
Today, during a confrontation, the federal agents became the aggressors and tazed Bundy, threw down a 57-year old woman, and attacked another pregnant woman with a K9 unit as seen in the following shocking video. Bundy supporters and militia groups are reportedly beginning to show up in support of his ranch.
200 Federal agents (and snipers) have swooped in on the area ranch with all their gear, weapons and hubris, and are now taking Bundy’s cattle.

RADON GAS IN YOUR HOME MAY CAUSE LUNG CANCER

radon-county-map-united-states
Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Overall, radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer and is responsible for more than 20,000 lung cancer deaths every year. Thousands of these deaths occur among people who have never smoked.
I’ll bet many of you didn’t know that (I didn’t – until researching this).
Here’s more of what you need to know about radon, and what to do about it.

A DOZEN USES FOR EMPTY SODA BOTTLES

A Dozen Uses For Empty Soda Bottles
Contributed by Lizzie Bennett of Underground Medic.

There are lots of things you can do with an empty soda bottle, here’s just a dozen of them.
  • Splint: Cut off the top and bottom then slit up the side. It will roll back in on itself making it multi sized. Use to keep dressings clean, to stop kiddies pulling dressings off or as a splint until you can do things properly.
  • Store: It’s food grade plastic so they are suitable for storing dried foods or water. Agitate the water before drinking to make it taste fresher.

THE DANGER OF STRESS HORMONES

Written and contributed by Dr. K.J. McLaughlin

When you are under stress, some very significant changes begin to happen to your internal physiology. You breathe faster and deeper, your blood pressure increases and so does your heart rate, you perspire, tremble, and your mouth gets dry.

These all happen within seconds because your body is trying to adapt to a stressful situation so you can react to it. This is the “fight or flight” response your body displays when it is faced with a stressful situation. The hormone adrenalin secreted from the adrenal gland is responsible for this immediate response to a stressful situation.

PAINT THINNER IN CHILDREN'S CEREAL EXPOSED

By Heather Callaghan

A lot of home builders and painters will know what trisodium phosphate (TSP) is. But a lot of them don't know that they eat it for breakfast!

Even though it appears right on the ingredients label, a lot of people don't realize it's an industrial cleaning agent. It gets worse (see below video), the government doesn't even want you to clean with it because it's considered bad for the environment. It's an okay part of a complete breakfast though!

Nick Brannigan and Vicky LePage hit the streets of Las Vegas again to show people what's up:
I referenced TSP when writing about various Cheerios debacles, saying that even if GMO-free, a lot of nutritionists would never recommend the cereal for its other ingredients. TSP appears in 6 varieties of Cheerios.

TOO MANY DIET DRINKS MAY SPELL HEART TROUBLE FOR OLDER WOMEN

Written by Natural Blaze.com

Largest study of its kind looks at diet drinks and cardiovascular outcomes, mortality

It appears healthy postmenopausal women who drink two or more diet drinks a day may be more likely to have a heart attack, stroke or other cardiovascular problems, according to research to be presented at the American College of Cardiology's 63rd Annual Scientific Session.

In fact, compared to women who never or only rarely consume diet drinks, those who consumed two or more a day were 30 percent more likely to suffer a cardiovascular event and 50 percent more likely to die from related disease. Researchers analyzed diet drink intake and cardiovascular risk factors from 59,614 participants in the Women's Health Initiative Observational Study, making this the largest study to look at the relationship between diet drink consumption, cardiac events and death.

5 TOP REASONS WHY YOU SHOULDN'T EAT PORK

Americans love their pork mostly in the form of bacon, ham, sausage, pepperoni, pork chops, and ribs. But is the "other white meat" really good for us? Below is 5 top reasons why you shouldn't eat pork.

 1.  A pig will eat anything. A garbage disposal, a pig will eat just about anything from urine, excrement, maggots, and rotten produce to cancerous growths off of other animals. If you believe you are what you eat, you'll stop eating pork without reading any further.

2.  Pigs have a dozen parasites. Flukes, tapeworms, worms, and trichinae thrive within the body of a pig. The trichinae worm is microscopically small. Once ingested, it can lodge itself in the intestines, muscles, spinal cord, and brain of humans resulting in the disease called trichinosis. Symptoms can be mistaken for acute alcoholism, arthritis, gall bladder trouble, gastritis, meningitis, MS, and rheumatism. There is no safe temperature to cook pork at to guarantee all parasites and their eggs have been killed.

3. Pigs carry the H1N1 virus. According to the Centers for Disease Control, pigs are carriers of more than 100 viruses including the H1N1 virus. Many of these viruses are easily transmittable to humans.

4. Pigs absorb toxins and don't have sweat glands. Pig's meat is far toxic than vension or beef and stays that way due to the pig's inability to perspire due to their lack of sweat glands. Perspiring helps remove toxins from the body.

5. God instructed His people not to eat pork and shellfish. For those of you who are religious. "And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you". (Leviticus 11:7-8)

Recommendations for life without pork:

1. Substitute pork bacon with organic, free range turkey or vegan bacon. Turkey and vegan bacon have much less fat and calories and much less risk on your health.

2. Substitute pork sausage with organic, free range chicken or vegan sausage. Chicken and vegan sausage have much less fat and calories than pork or beef sausage.

3. Eat more eggs. Eggs, which have gotten a bum rap in the late 20th century, are coming back. Eggs are loaded with nutrients including choline, lecithin, inositol, and much needed cholesterol (why eggs got a bum rap). The brain requires cholesterol to function properly. For those of you on statin drugs, are you listening? Just make sure your buy free range, organic eggs from local farms. Factory farms, even organic farms kill the male chicks by suffocation or through a grinder (alive). Egg substitutes are nothing but processed foods.

4. Eat more non-animal sources of protein.  Try alternative but much ignored sources of protein such as nuts, seeds, legumes (beans, organic tofu and edamame, and peas), and whole grains (quinoa, millet, spelt, oats, and teff). Any kind of modern wheat is not recommended. It is difficult to digest due to its high gluten content.

5. Drink Wormwood Tea. If you have eaten a lot of pork in the past, take wormwood extract or drink wormwood tea to help eliminate parasites.

Your comments are always welcome.

OBAMACARE: THOUGHTS ON OBAMA'S "VICTORY" OF 7.1 MILLION "ENROLLED"

President Obama gloated today on national TV this morning about the success of Obamacare because there are 7.1 million "enrolled" as of the March 31, 2014 deadline. First of all, how can the President gloat over a program that is forced on the people. If you have no choice but to sign up for the program or pay a penalty then is the program a success? Would millions of Americans willingly purchase expensive health insurance that benefits the insurance industry, pharmaceutical companies and government?

Second, Obama's claim of 7.1 million Americans that enrolled does not include those who actually paid and it does not include the 4-5 million Americans that lost their insurance due to Obamacare. So when you take into account those statistics, it is very likely there is a net decrease in those with insurance coverage as compared to last year.

According to Mike Adams of NaturalNews.com:
Obamacare's "victory" is the philosophical equivalent of every dictator who has ever shoved a gun in the faces of helpless citizens and told them to swear their allegiance to him. Only in a totalitarian regime does the President celebrate millions of people being forced into compliance and call it a "victory." The very idea is morally repugnant and wholly anti-American.
If millions of people had been given a free choice and voluntarily chosen Obamacare health insurance, that would be a genuine victory worth celebrating. But for Obama to celebrate a forced, penalty-ridden government mandate shoved down the throats of the People is a violation of the basic tenants of human
The last-minute surge in enrollment had more to do with the fear of being penalized or audited by the IRS then free will to choose health insurance coverage. If Obamacare was so great, millions would not wait to the last minute. In addition, 7.1 million is still ridiculously low when you are looking at a population of over 330 million people. So what is the gloating all about?

What else Obama is not telling you is that most of the sign ups are people who are 55-64 looking for highly subsidized insurance so they can retire, people who have pre-existing conditions and therefore their premiums are lower than their monthly medical bills, and those that qualify for medicaid. Not enough of the young and the healthy of any age are signing up. What does this mean? Those of you who are signed up and those who plan to sign up this year will be paying much higher premiums, whether you get a subsidy or not.
