8 TIPS TO STOP THE INSANITY OF GREED AND SAVE YOUR LIFE

After reading Wednesday's article written by Mike Adams on genetically modifying monkeys to have autism, I got angry. Instead of torturing adorable monkeys and other wildlife, there are things we can do to prevent brain damage and other neurological conditions. Here are my thoughts on what needs to change.

  • We need to get rid of 90 percent of the 80,000 plus chemicals in our environment, most of which have not been tested for safety.
  • We need to stop the insane practice of giving an incredible amount of vaccines to infants and children with brain toxins in them at one time.
  • We need to remove GMOs, hormones, and chemicals from our food. GMOs are not saving the world. They are destroying the world.
  • We need to stop the insane push for putting electromagnetic energy in every room of every building in the world.
  • We need to stop the pushing of prescription drug medication. Drugs do not cure. They cover up the problem and cause many more problems that require more drugs. Hundreds of thousands of people die every year from side effects of medications.
  • We need to stop the insanity of fracking. Anyone arguing fracking is fine need only look at what is happening at Porter Ranch, California. We need to stop the monopoly of power companies or else this crap will never stop. They are invincible and they know it.
  • We need to stop the insanity of nuclear power. Anyone who thinks nuclear power is fine need only look at what happened at Fukishima, Japan and what is still happening along the Pacific coast with wild life dying in the thousands. It is all about greed and profits.

HORRIFIC EXPERIMENT -- BABY MONKEYS GENETICALLY MODIFIED TO SUFFER FROM AUTISM

Editor's Comment: When I read the following story by Mike Adams of Natural News, I literally teared up. How can anyone with a heart perform such horrific experiments? What is this world coming to? So, so cruel and sick to torture beautiful animals who have no say in what happens to them.

The Latest Science Horror: Baby Monkeys Genetically Engineered to Suffer from Autism Symptoms... NATURE Science Journal Celebrates 'Breakthrough'

(NaturalNews) The latest horror from science is being hailed by the science journal Nature as a breakthrough for brain research, but it involves genetically engineering baby monkeys to cripple them and make them cognitively stunted and "autistic."

"The laboratory monkeys run obsessively in circles, largely ignore their peers and grunt anxiously when stared at," writes David Cyranoski in this Nature article. It's all part of an effort to use genetic engineering to create "psychiatric disorders" in primates so that drug companies can reap billions in profits from the very same conditions caused by mercury in vaccines, toxic processed foods and herbicide chemicals used on genetically modified crops.

"If non-human primates prove to be a useful model for psychiatric disorders, China and other countries that are investing heavily in research on monkeys, such as Japan, could gain an edge in brain research," writes Cyranoski. This ability to genetically engineer cognitive deformed primates gives China and Japan "a clear advantage over the US," he concludes.

Yep, in an age of scientific horrors, where humankind has developed the ability to alter the programming code of biological systems, we see the horrifically poorly named "Nature" journal celebrating the destruction of nature and calling it an "advantage."

HIGH-DOSE VITAMIN C INJECTIONS SHOWN TO ANNIHILATE CANCER

by Ethan A. Huff, staff writer for NaturalNews

Groundbreaking new research on the cancer-fighting potential of vitamin C has made the pages of the peer-reviewed journal Science Translational Medicine. A team of researchers from the University of Kansas reportedly tested the effects of vitamin C given in high doses intravenously on a group of human subjects and found that it effectively eradicates cancer cells while leaving healthy cells intact.

Building upon earlier research pioneered in the 1970s by the late Linus Pauling, a chemist from Oregon State University who today is recognized as the world's foremost proponent of therapeutic vitamin C, the new research involved injecting high doses of vitamin C into human ovarian cells. The tests were conducted in vitro in a lab, as well as directly in both mice and a group of 22 human subjects.

According to BBC News, the tests showed favorable results in all three models, as the vitamin C effectively targeted the ovarian cancer cells while avoiding healthy cells. The benefits of high-dose vitamin C were also observed in conjunction with conventional chemotherapy treatments, which destroy all cells, both healthy and malignant, eventually leading to patient death.

"Patients are looking for safe and low-cost choices in their management of cancer," stated Dr. Jeanne Drisko, a co-author of the study, to BBC News concerning the findings. "Intravenous vitamin C has that potential based on our basic science research and early clinical data."

Researchers admit more human trials on intravenous vitamin C unlikely because drug companies cannot patent vitamins

The Frightening Science and Politics of Cell Phone Safety

Editor's Comment: If you don't limit your cell phone use after reading the following article, at least stop giving access to cell phones and tablets to your small children. I am so, so tired of seeing toddlers playing with tablets and cell phones everywhere I go. These are not toys. Do you want your children to have cancer by the time they are a teenager? Shame on all parents who think giving these dangerous electronics to their children is cool.

Radiating Corruption: The Frightening Science and Politics of Cell Phone Safety
http://www.naturalblaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/cell-phone-radiation.jpg

By Gary Null, PhD

In an article published in the New York Times last week entitled “At C.D.C., a Debate Behind Recommendations on Cellphone Risk”, author Danny Hakim discusses the controversy surrounding the potential health risks of using cell phones. Hakim writes that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued guidelines recommending “caution in cellphone use”, due to the potentially harmful effects of radiation emitted by the wireless devices on human health. Included in the guidelines was information about reducing exposure among children. Just a few weeks after the CDC’s publication, and amid rising concerns about cell phone safety, the CDC rescinded the advisory completely.
Today, the CDC website takes an ambiguous stance on the issue, stating:

Can using a cell phone cause cancer?

YOUR GLUTEN PROBLEM MAY ACTUALLY BE CAUSED BY GLYPHOSATE

(NaturalNews) Do you consider yourself to be sensitive to gluten? Your problem with wheat, it turns out, may not be a problem with gluten at all. It may, in fact, be a problem with GLYPHOSATE.

Most people don't realize it, but even though wheat is not yet commercially grown as a genetically engineered crop, farmers saturate wheat crops with very high doses of glyphosate right before harvest, speeding the drying of the wheat stalks and accelerating harvest duration.

The result is that toxic, cancer-causing glyphosate herbicide is now found in many wheat products, including pasta, wheat bread, wheat flake breakfast cereals, donuts, bagels, cake mixes, snack crackers and much more.

Glyphosate is known to be toxic at parts per billion concentrations, meaning it only takes a very tiny amount to potentially impact your digestion and metabolism in a dangerous way.

What's the solution to glyphosate in wheat products? Buy ORGANIC wheat, which isn't legally allowed to be sprayed with glyphosate.

Once you switch to organic wheat, you may discover your "gluten" problems simply disappear... and that's because it wasn't a gluten problem to begin with. It was glyphosate poisoning!

Editor's note: I agree mostly with what Mike Adams has to say, however, for those with Celiac disease or gluten intolerance, wheat gluten from modern wheat, organic or not, still has its problems. The gluten in modern wheat (frankenwheat) has been increased significantly over the past 50 years to the point it is difficult to digest for many. If you do not have Celiac disease (all gluten is a problem) , try spelt wheat in place of all modern wheat before giving up entirely on all wheat. The gluten in spelt wheat is much lower. It has not been changed from what our ancestors ate centuries ago. I can't consume any wheat without having stomach problems and a headache but I can consume spelt wheat with no problems.

WHY YOU ARE LIKELY TO HAVE A MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY

by D. Gagnon (HealthFitnessCafe)

Eighty percent of people in the U.S. have a magnesium deficiency. The soil in which we grow our food has deteriorated due to the popularity of single crop agricultural methods along with the heavy use of herbicides.  In addition, the average American consumes high amounts of phosphorus found in fast foods, especially processed meats and soft drinks. Phosphorus binds with magnesium, preventing it from being absorbed.

Magnesium is needed for over 300 biochemical reactions in the body.  It is critical for muscle contraction and nerve function. Other critical functions include cell growth and reproduction, DNA and RNA synthesis, formation of bones and teeth, proper bowel function, normal heart rhythms, and maintaining normal blood pressure and blood flow.

Many people with irregular heart beats (arrhythmia) only need to increase their magnesium intake to correct the problem. Instead, many doctors put these people on beta-blockers (high blood pressure drugs) and blood thinners. Blood thinners can cause internal bleeding and even death. I think I would rather take magnesium supplements. Magnesium also helps prevent the formation of kidney stones and their recurrence.

Below are 17 signs that you could be could be low in magnesium:

CELL TOWER RADIATION PREVENTS GARDEN CRESS SEED GERMINATION IN DANISH EXPERIMENT

wifi_damageBy Catherine J Frompovich of ActivistPost

What do cell phones, cell towers, Wi-Fi, Smart Meters and other “smart” devices all have in common?

They emit radiation, which no one wants to take seriously as having adverse health effects on humans. Medically, the adverse effects are called “Non-thermal health effects.”

In 2013, a ninth grade experiment for a national science fair found remarkable proof of radiation damage from Wi-Fi routers that was replicated by a peer review study. Wow! So, what did both experiments show? Garden cress seeds placed near Wi-Fi routers failed to germinate. Above are photographs that corroborate those findings.

Five Danish schoolgirls proved what apparently no one in the microwave industry wanted to. Wi-Fi radiation causes adverse effects to any life forms, which, in their experiment, were garden cress seeds. The young ladies placed the seeds near two Wi-Fi routers, waited and took photographs for twelve days. The results—failure of seeds to germinate—can be seen in the above photographs.

COURTS CONFIRM MMR VACCINE CAUSES AUTISM

(written by Jonathan Benson at NaturalNews

You won't hear anything about it from the mainstream media, but the federal government's kangaroo "vaccine court" has once again conceded, albeit quietly, that the combination measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine does, indeed, cause autism. In a recently published ruling, part of which was censored from public view, a young boy was awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars after it was determined that the MMR vaccine led to a confirmed diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Ten-year-old Ryan Mojabi's parents say he first suffered an encephalopathy after being vaccinated for MMR on December 19, 2003. Known as a "table injury," encephalopathy is a recognized, compensable adverse reaction to vaccines, and one that the kangaroo vaccine court has previously linked to vaccines. According to Ryan's parents, the MMR vaccine caused their son's encephalopathy, which manifested as "neuroimmunologically mediated dysfunctions in the form of asthma and ASD."

The New Food Rules from Time Magazine (Rules Five and Six)

We started reviewing "The New Food Rules" from the January 4, 2016 issue of Time magazine. Today we will discuss last two new food rules (5 and 6).

5. Stay Away From Zer0-Calorie Foods and Drinks. Artificial sweeteners mess with our reward centers in the brain making us believe we haven't received enough energy, causing us to eat more than we would have otherwise. Artificial sweeteners also alter gut bacteria predisposing us to glucose intolerance--a precursor to diabetes.

Do I agree? Yes. Artificial sweeteners, especially aspartame, act as excitotoxins. Excitotoxins kill brain neurons increasing our risk to neurological conditions such as memory loss, dementia, and seizures. For more on excitotoxins, see Excitotoxins: Dangers of Aspartame and MSG.  Choose water, diluted juices, or tea instead.

4. Some Foods May Wire You for Weight Gain. Refined carbohydrates raise insulin levels. Insulin, a hormone, prepares the body to hoard calories in case of famine. Therefore, consuming refined carbohydrates makes you "hungry" even if you just ate half a loaf of bread.

Do I agree? Yes. Mostly. Refined carbohydrates are no different than eating sugar. It messes with insulin levels. However, whole wheat can also spike insulin levels. Whole grains have much more nutrients than refined grains. They contain B vitamins and fiber. Avoid the refined carbs and any modern wheat. Brown rice, quinoa, spelt, oats, and millet are much better alternatives. Just make sure you eat them with protein and a healthy oil. This will help prevent blood sugar levels from swinging. Eat oatmeal with walnuts or rice with beans and avocado. See Food Rule Number 2  for more details on grains.

Videos: Methane Leak Causes Environmental Disaster at Porter Ranch, CA

The video below includes shots of the disaster and Erin Brockovich's assessment on the situation. She explains how So. Cal. Gas Co. removed safety measures and failed to replace them. She explains how just bad this leak is to the environment.

What the FRACK is going on at Porter Ranch, CA? For those of you who are unaware, there is a runaway methane gas leak at Porter Ranch, CA that's been going on for three months. According to some reports, methane is being spewed into the air at 1,200 tons per day.  Porter Ranch is just north of Los Angeles. The methane gas leak is a result of fracking operations in the area. Doctors in the Porter Ranch area are seeing many people with weird infections and nose bleeds, and veterinarians are noticing an increase in sick pets. Doctors are telling patients to move. LA is in a basin. I would have to believe that the plume would eventually affect the whole LA basin. Millions of people live in LA. What if there is a large earthquake? Southern Cal. Gas expects to fix the leak by the end of March.

The New Food Rules from Time Magazine (Rules Three and Four)

We started reviewing "The New Food Rules" from the January 4, 2016 issue of Time magazine. Today we will discuss new food rules numbers 3 and 4.

3. Don't bother with pricey superfoods. Research suggests when it comes to perceptions of long-term disease outcomes, nutrients and not spending money on the latest "superfood." Drinking acai juice is fine but not more nutritious than berries.

Do I agree? Yes. Our ancestors didn't have these "superfoods" and there were much healthier than we are today as a whole. That doesn't mean you can't drink acai juice everyday if you love it but don't spend the money on it if you aren't in love with the stuff. The must important thing is to consume at least 5 (preferably 7) servings in a variety of fruits and vegetables every day (including at least one serving of leaving greens).

4. Instantly improve your diet with this nutrient. Americans don't consume enough fiber. The average American consumes only 16 grams of fiber a day compared to our ancestors who are thought to have consumed up to 150 grams per day. Fiber plays a significant role in health. Fiber improves gut bacteria, reduces inflammation, and aids in the prevention of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

Do I agree? Yes. If you are not pooping at least once a day, you are leaving toxins in your body, which can lead to disease. Fiber helps with constipation. If you are chronically constipated, you could be carrying around an extra two to five pounds or more of weight. Fiber is found in most fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains. Eat plenty of all three but stay away from frankenwheat. See Food Rule Number 2  for more details on grains.

SCIENTISTS DISCOVER NEW LINK BETWEEN SUGAR AND CANCER

 sugar cubes wikimedia

Written by Joshua Krause for Ready Nutrition

It’s no secret that sugar is incredibly bad for you. The typical American diet, which probably has more added sugar than any national diet in the world, is known to cause obesity, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, liver disease, tooth decay, nutrient deficiencies, and of course, cancer (and that’s just the short list). Cancer in particular, has been connected to sugar consumption for some time now, by both mainstream and alternative medicine. Plenty of theories have been posited to explain the precise mechanism for how sugar fuels cancer growth, and it seems that modern science has just discovered another compelling link.

You spoke and Campbell’s food company listened. Previously, Campbell’s unveiled plans to run toward the health-conscious organic and non-GMO market dollar. Now, they have dropped one of the biggest publicity bombs ever by announcing their intention to voluntarily label their GMO ingredients.
Part of their previous plans for change included launching several lines of organic kids soups, and removing MSG from all their kids soups, creating organic wheat versions of cracker products, increasing organics across other food lines, removing artificial colors and flavors from nearly all North American products in the next three years, removing high fructose corn syrup from Pepperidge Farm fresh breads, and increasing the transparency of their ingredients, including the launch of a new website; What’s in My Food.

The New Food Rules from Time Magazine (Rule Two)

We started reviewing "The New Food Rules" in the January 4, 2016 issue of Time magazine yesterday. Today we will discuss new rule number 2.

2. Whenever possible, eat outside the box. Items found in a box are usually heavily processed. This rule, therefore, emphasizes foods with minimal processing with the main diet consisting of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts, and seeds.

Do I agree? Mostly. Whole grains should be low gluten. Modern wheat should never be eaten because the gluten content has been increased significantly over the past 50 or so years. Most people have trouble (even if not obvious) digesting gluten. Substitute "frankenwheat" with spelt (a traditional low gluten wheat that hasn't been missed with), barley, brown rice, millet, oat, and quinoa. There are other substitutes for wheat but they beyond most people's budget. These grains can be bought whole or as flour. Oats, of course, can also be purchased as oatmeal, rolled or steel cut. Keep in mind that some of these substitutes have gluten. If you need or want to eat gluten-free products, only brown rice, millet, and quinoa are completely gluten-free.

The New Food Rules from Time Magazine (Rule One)

According to Time magazine, these are the six new food rules. As a nutritionist, do I agree? Let's look at each one. Today, we'll start with "New Food Rule 1."

1. Don't worry so much about protein. Eating fat-free is no longer popular. People are worried about getting enough protein. Consuming large amounts of protein will help you lose weight quickly but is it healthy long-term. According to Time, it is not. High levels of protein are associated with increased risk of disease and cancer.  The average American already consumes more protein than is recommended.

I do agree with this rule.  The Paleo diet, which centers around high levels of protein, high fat, very low carbs, and no grains is still very popular.  This diet is based on how our hunter/gatherer ancestors ate. Our hunter/gatherer ancestors, however, ate the meat of wild caught animal. These animals ate natural foods in their natural environment.

Unstoppable California Gas Leak Being Called Worst Catastrophe Since BP Spill

9290351154_ccfeb429df_o
 By Claire Bernish

Methane gas continues spewing, unchecked, into the air over southern California from a fractured well to an underground storage site — at such an alarming rate that low-flying planes have necessarily been diverted by the FAA, lest internal combustion engines meet highly volatile gas and, well, blow the entire area to hell.

This is, indeed, the biggest environmental catastrophe since the BP Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010; and for now, there is no way to stop it.

MAJOR BABY FORMULA BRANDS HAVE GMOs

Similac, Enfamil, and Gerber Good Start are exposing American and Canadian babies to potentially health risks by using genetically modified ingredients. These formulas account for more than 90 percent of infant formula sales in the US. These products contain soy and corn ingredients, approximately 90 percent of which are genetically modified in the US.  Due to their risk on health, genetically modified ingredients have been banned in the European Union, Russia, and about 60 other countries. Not here in the US. Here in the US, large multi-national companies lobby CONgress and place ads to convince us that labeling these toxins would cost to much, an outright lie.

So what can you do?

Stop giving these products to your baby. Breast feeding is much healthier than processed formulas. When you can't breast feed, look for USDA organic formulas.  Some good brands are Earth's Best, Baby's Only, Bright Beginnings, and Vermont Organics. A good article on how to buy safe baby formula can be found at FoodBabe.com.

What else can you do?

Abbott Laboratories (yes, a drug company) makes Similac, Mead Johnson Nutrition makes Enfamil, and Nestle makes Gerber Good Start. If you want theses companies to remove their GMO ingredients, you can sign a petition at GreenAmerica.org.

HOW TO STICK TO A WEIGHT LOSS & FITNESS PROGRAM

Almost 70 percent of Americans are overweight. About one in three adults are obese and about one in twenty adults are extremely obese. So it is no surprise that most people include losing weight and getting in shape as their number one New Year's resolution. Unfortunately, most will fail these goals by the end of January. One of the main reasons for failure include too strict of a diet or an exercise program that is hard to maintain because of time or difficulty.

If you do not want to be of those failures, you need to start with a program you know you can stick to. Everyone like to see the pounds drop fast. It gives them motivation. The problem with losing weight quickly is the metabolism. The heavier you are, the faster your metabolism slows when reducing food. The reason this happens is genetics. If your body is used to a certain amount of food, cutting a significant amount pushes it into "survival" mode. Your body doesn't know you are going to eat later so it conserves energy and burns less calories. If you are hungry, you are not eating enough. So you might tell me that your hungry all the time now and you weigh 300 hundred pounds. How can you eat less and not be hungry? It's not how much you are eating in volume. The problem is WHAT you are eating.

To make this simple, for January these are the rules you need to follow. I will add more rules at the beginning of each month, so by the end of the year, you will not know what hit you but you will weigh less and be much healthier. The three components of your program will include nutritional, supplement, and movement changes. We will stay away from the words diet and exercise. They even sound painful and depressing.

January Nutritional Changes

1. Eliminate modern wheat. No, I am not crazy. Modern wheat or frankenwheat as I like to call it is very high in gluten, herbicides, and pesticides. It destroys the gut. If you gut isn't working properly, you are not getting absorbing nutrients properly. If you are not absorbing nutrients properly, you will always feel hungry. Now, I didn't say eliminate grains. Just wheat. Substitute wheat with spelt (a low gluten wheat). You can make anything from spelt that you made from wheat. You can buy spelt products if you don't have time to bake. However, spelt products taste so much better freshly baked and cost significantly less money. You will find the taste of spelt so much nicer and nuttier than frankenwheat. If you purchase Bob's Red Mill spelt flour, there is a great muffin recipe on the back. For tortillas, you can make your own. I really like Trader Joe's brown rice tortillas. They sell for $2.69 for 6 large in my local store.
