Natural Living Ideas gives 14 great ways on how you can use castor oil. Here are my 7 favorite summarized below:
1. Safe and natural laxative.
Oral ingestion of castor oil can clean out the bowels within two to five hours. Adults can take 1 to 2 tablespoons, while children 2 to 12 years old can take only 1 to 2 teaspoons. Infants below 2 years should take 1 teaspoon at a time. When giving it to children, mix it with freshly squeezed juice to make it more palatable.
2. Relieves muscle pain and soreness. Rub it on your muscles after an intense workout to promote blood circulation and relieve soreness. Mix it with peppermint oil or other essential oils to make the massage more relaxing and healing.
3. Soothes joint pain. The ricinoleic acid in castor oil has a decongestant effect on the lymphatic system, which is responsible for collecting waste from your tissues and carrying it to your bloodstream to be eliminated. A clogged lymphatic system can cause pain and inflammation in joints, such as in people with arthritis. Massaging castor oil on the joints can get lymph moving freely and help ease congestion and joint pain.
4. Treats fungal infections. Castor oil can be just as effective as anti-fungal drugs in treating common infections like ringworm, jock itch, and athlete’s foot. Warm the oil and apply onto the affected area before bedtime and leave it on overnight. Repeat until the infection has disappeared completely. You should see improvement within a week.

5. Natural skin moisturizer. The fatty acids in castor oil can nourish and moisturize dry skin. Due to its viscous nature, it stays put and easily penetrates into your skin tissue. Simply rub a teaspoonful (a little goes a long way) between your palms and apply all over your skin.To make a lotion, check out this easy 3 ingredient recipe. Just substitute castor oil in the ingredients.

6. Treatment for skin problems. To treat acne, skin tags, and warts, apply castor oil daily with a cotton swab.
7. Lubricant. Castor oil can be used on items around the home that need lubrication such as squeaky hinges on doors and gates, the track of garage doors, scissors, and sliding doors that get stuck. Castor oil does not freeze, so it can be ideal for either hot or very cold temperatures.

Family Study of Essential Tremor   (FASET II)

Dr. Elan Louis and colleagues at Yale University along with Dr. Lorraine Clark at Columbia University have teamed together for an important research project "FASET II", to try to identify the genes that are responsible for ET. They are calling on the assistance of the ET community to help them complete this groundbreaking research, which at the moment is the largest NIH-funded project of its kind. The help of the ET community is vital.
Eligible families would comply with the following criteria:
  1. There are at least 3 living affected family members and at least 2 living unaffected family members. These 5 family members must be 18 years and older and do not have any accompanying dystonia or Parkinson's disease.
  2. One of these 5 family members has been diagnosed by a doctor as having ET, and his or her tremor had started by the time he or she was 50 years old.
  3. Each family member is willing to donate a blood sample, answer some questionnaires, and undergo a videotaped neurological exam during a home visit that will take place in each of your homes. Each interview will last approximate 2 hours.
  4. This is a nationwide study, in which the researchers will travel to meet with qualified participants individually. There are no costs associated with participation.
Age 18 and over
Geographic Location National
Diagnostic Groups ET only; or unaffected relatives
Other Requirements In-person clinical assessment
(can be done at home);

Humana plans to drop Obamacare by the end of 2017. It seems they are losing (relative term because they are probably just making a few billion less) money insuring sick people. You mean it doesn't pay to insure sick people who need thousands of dollars of care every month? Who would have thought? Hopefully Trump has the answer to this mess. Maybe the very sick should have been added to Medicare. But Medicare is bankrupt so....

There are already five states with only one option. After Humana drops out of the unAffordable Care Act, how many more states will be added to the one option plan?

obamacare competition problems map
The answer to the insurance mess is to get rid of health insurance except for catastrophic events (accidents and serious illnesses). Without insurance, there would be much more competition and prices on all health care services would drop significantly. We need to go back to cash payments and transparencies. If you need to go to the doctor and you had to pay cash, you would check everyone to get the lowest price. If you could pay in a year what you pay in a month for catastrophic insurance, you would have the money to go to the doctor for checkups and lab tests, especially if the price decreases 75 percent.  Wouldn't it be nice to pay $50 cash to the doctor for a visit and not have to deal with insurance companies? How about paying $100 for complete blood tests? This will never happen, though, because the insurance industry pays lobbyists millions of dollars a year to "insure" they continue ripping off the public.

What do you think?

The autism rate is now 1 in 5O. It will be 1 in 2 by 2030 if we do nothing. The pharmaceutical industry performs the studies to prove vaccine safety or they award grants to universities that perform the studies. Conflict of interest anyone? The pharmaceutical industry is made up of public companies that make billions of dollars off of sales of vaccines. Profits are top priority to make shareholders happy, otherwise, the shareholders will invest elsewhere. The pharmaceutical industry lobbied together to get a law passed in 2011 that exempts them from liability related to vaccine damages. So, if you are your child becomes autistic, brain damaged, or dies, they don't have to pay out a dime. If vaccines are so safe, why the law? Yet, millions of dollars are paid out every year to families of children harmed by vaccines. Who is footing the bill? You, the taxpayer. How come we never hear about these lawsuits? The pharmaceutical industry controls the media by threatening to pull their lucrative ads. They spend billions on television advertising every year. Who wants to lose that kind of money?
